Burgon & Ball telescopic handled ratchet lopper is endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society, the world's largest gardening charity

This is an exceptionally heavy duty ratchet action garden lopper for the toughest, most demanding pruning jobs. The five-stage ratchet gradually increases cutting power by up to 100%, compared with a regular tree lopper, allowing you to cut through branches up to 4cm in diameter, without needing to resort to a saw. The blades are manufactured from high carbon steel and will retain their edge for years to come. This lopper's ultra-lightweight aluminium shafts and comfortable rubber grip handles make it a pleasure to use, even for overhead work, while the easy-to-use twist lock telescopic mechanism makes adjustment simple. Like all RHS endorsed cutting tools, this ratchet action telescopic lopper comes with our 10-year guarantee.

Features:

  • Overall length extends from 72cm to 104cm.
  • Handle shafts: aluminium
  • Grips: thermoplastic rubber
  • Blades: high carbon steel, one with non-stick coating, one with chrome plating
  • Weight: 1.71kg

Burgeon and ball Loppers

Look very good, surprisingly very little in the way of instructions. Ok mostly straight forward but I anticipated some hints, tips, suggestions

It is OK

I bought one of these as a present for my daughter and the other is for my use. I have not had much opportunity to use it but what I have done leads me to believe it is OK at cutting that size of branch that I have been unable to lop until now. My only concern is seeing the extended handles bend when I use all my effort.
