Husqvarna Universal Axe A1400

The Husqvarna Universal Axe 1400A is a workmanlike axe that is suitable for a lot of different jobs within forestry, wood-work and construction. The 1400A has a balance point really close to the axe head which allows for far better balance, weight distribution, power and penetration of cut. On the rear of the axe head is a nifty converted hammerhead, allowing for effective use with splitting (not metal wedges) wedges - who needs a hammer when you have the Universal Axe?

1400A weighs a total of 1400kg and is 60cm long which, paired with its aforementioned axe head balance, can really pack a punch. The head also comes with a non-stick coating, allowing easy entry into the wood with less chance of friction. Stainless steel shaft protection keeps the handle and shaft in shape for long working life and the PA shaft is also fibre-reinforced to increase durability.
