Husqvarna Petrol Chainsaws 560 XP Professional

The Husqvarna 560 XP chainsaw has been designed especially for professional loggers, and fellers and is also suitable for skilled landowners. The saw keeps logging and felling needs in mind with rapid acceleration and higher chain speed providing great limbing performance. The saw is full of features, making for high efficiency and convenience. Husqvarna's X-Torq engine technology means more power when it's needed, up to 20% less fuel consumption and 75% fewer exhaust emissions.

The model also comes with RevBoost, AutoTune; Smart Start and LowVib technology, improving performance and ergonomics in one fell swoop. RevBoost is the new kid on the block and works to boost chain speed for more efficient de-limbing. AutoTune means manual carburettor adjustments are a thing of the past, plus it provides optimal engine performance during automatic engine settings. It can also compensate for different temperatures, clogged air filters, humidity, fuel and altitude. Smart Start and LowVib provide swift and easy engine starting and extremely low vibrations in the machine, making the chainsaw even easier to operate. LowVIb is achieved through anti-vibration dampeners which absorb vibration and make operating the chainsaw less tiring. Smart Start also improves resistance in the starter cord but reduces it by up to 40%. Ease of use is a factor high on the Husqvarna agenda and a side-mounted chain tensioner makes chain adjustment quick and easy.

Not only that but distinct coloured felling marks on the body of the saw, help improve felling precision. Checking fuel levels is extremely easy, thanks to a transparent fuel indicator allowing for an easy fuel level check. The fuel tank also has a flip-up cap making re-fuelling nice and simple. Engine flooding can be an issue with some traditional chainsaws but not the 560 XP, as a combined choke/stop control allows for reduced risk of flooding and much easier engine starting. Durability is a big thing for professional loggers and fellers and is just as important in extending machine life as it is allowing for a more efficient work rate. Husqvarna has developed a forged three-piece crankshaft and magnesium crankcase, both built to withstand high rpm and maximise durability, providing a longer service life.

Servicing can be a pain when it comes to machinery, so a few features have been added to the 560 XP to make life easier. Bar nuts are quite easily lost during heavy-duty operation so the chainsaw has been fitted with a retaining function to prevent this. Quick-release features also make life easy as the air filter and cylinders are made easier to access, clean or replace with new parts. Another factor in managing air filters is a centrifugal air cleaning system which means reduced wear and longer stretches of time between filter cleaning.
