View full detailsI used this recently on a large Ash tree that was damaged during storm Darragh. Setup with a 20 inch bar and very comfortable to use and noticeably better than my 560XP. It didn't feel particularly heavy for the felling cuts and main trunk but I used the 560XP for limbing the tree as it had a shorter bar.
It was easier to start than my other saws. I didn't use the decompression valve when starting it and fuelled it with 2 stroke Aspen. The auto tune does seem to adjust quickly and the engine is stable at all speeds + tickover. Because I was trying to run the engine in, I did try and use it at 75% power and was being gentle with it. I did try it at full speed for a short duration on the second tank of fuel and it has loads of power. I'm very happy with this purchase. Looking forward to using it again soon on some other large damaged trees.
